How we handle what you send us.

This notice explains what happens to the information you provide through cadfangroup.com. The website is operated by Cadfan Group UK Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15995400, with its registered office in Cardiff. Cadfan Group UK Ltd is the data controller for that information.

Cookies and tracking

The website does not set cookies and does not run analytics, advertising or social-media scripts. To help prevent duplicate enquiries, your browser stores a request reference, a one-way fingerprint of the form details and the submission status. Form contents are not stored in browser storage. This record is replaced when you submit a different confirmed enquiry; you can remove it through your browser settings. If delivery is unconfirmed, check receipt before clearing it or resending. All images and code are served from this site. No third-party requests are made by the pages themselves.

The enquiry form

When you send an enquiry, the form collects your name, email address, company (optional), the topic you select, the brief you write and, where provided, your requested date and location. This information is sent as an email to info@cadfangroup.com through a transactional email service (Resend) and delivered to our business mailbox. It is not stored in a database on this website. The notification includes a request reference and source label to support internal tracking. Cadfan maintains a private enquiry register; automated capture into that register is not currently enabled. Enquiries are not orders, and the form does not authorise payment or subscribe you to marketing.

We use what you send us only to understand and reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where an engagement follows, the steps needed to enter into a contract with you. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Enquiry emails are kept in our mailbox for as long as the conversation or any resulting engagement remains relevant, and are then deleted in the ordinary course of mailbox housekeeping.

Email sent directly

If you email info@cadfangroup.com directly, the same principles apply: we use your message to reply to you and keep it only as long as the matter remains relevant.

Hosting and technical logs

The website is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records standard technical information about requests (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in short-lived server logs used for security and operation of the service. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@cadfangroup.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If the way the website handles information changes, this notice will be updated and the date above revised.
